Behold another old Ford Truck? If you didn't already catch it- I also own a 1994 F-350. You can click on that one for more details on these old trucks. This is the F-250, the heavy duty version. This one has a great big engine and was made for pulling horse trailers and other big things. I had been looking for a long time to add a 9th Generation Ford truck to my collection, and I did- but it was too nice to drive much- and I wanted something a little rougher, cheaper, and also a winter project to tinker with. This was it. My son went to check this out for me- and was greeted by a biting dog. I think that helped me save $500. That should help with the gas bill- I think this gets about 10 mpg... going down hill.
Fun Fact-
In the 90s, Ford had part ownership of Aston Martin. Aston was required to have either an automatic seatbelt or airbag to meet US safety regulations in the early 90s. So- what did they use? Something they already had in their parts bin- the Airbag from a Ford F150 and Crown Vic. If you pulled the Aston logo off your steering wheel, it said Ford. Or... maybe I have an Aston steering wheel in my truck?
